The 40-hour TCOLE Court Security Specialist Course is specifically designed for Court Security Officers and judicial security personnel. This course equips participants with advanced knowledge and skills needed to effectively safeguard judges, jurors, staff, and the public.
· Protect judges, jurors, staff, defendants, and the public
· Operate security technology and screening systems
· Respond effectively to threats such as weapons, explosive devices, or active threats in court
· This training fulfills the mandates under Senate Bill 42, also known as the Judge Julie Kocurek Judicial and Courthouse Security Act of 2017, ensuring comprehensive court security training.
