Being a Host Provider for a Court Security Course

If your agency is interested in serving as a Host Provider for a Court Security Course, there are a few requirements.

1.  Minimum class size is 8 students, and the maximum class size is 20. 

2. The hosting agency must coordinate with a TCOLE-approved Contract Training Provider or Law Enforcement Academy to submit all student training hours to TCOLE. Here is a list of authorized TCOLE Training Providers 

3. The host agency is expected to assist with course enrollment by actively promoting the course.

4. Provide the necessary facilities: a suitable classroom for instructional sessions, an empty courtroom or comparable space for scenario-based exercises, and a shooting range for the live-fire component of the course.
